Game Review: Mortal Kombat 9 is a multiplatform computer game in the fighting genre developed by NetherRealm Studios (formerly known as Midway Games) and published by Warner Bros.  Interactive Entertainment.  This is the ninth game in the main series Mortal Kombat which is both a continuation and a reboot of the franchise 2.  The new MK is also a storyline continuation of Mortal Kombat Armageddon and retelling / reloading the plot of the first three games.  According to the gameplay Mortal Kombat 2011 returned to the combat system similar to that used in the 2D games of the series.  The battles again take place only in two dimensions but the fighters and arenas are made in 3D graphics.  MK9 was released in 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game consoles. In 2012 a portable version was released on the PlayStation Vita in the same year the extended edition of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was released. In 2013 Mortal was released  Kombat Komplete Edition for PC.

About the possibility of creating the game for the first time hinted in January 2009 one of the creators of the series Ed Boon soon after the previous part Mortal Kombat vs.  DC Universe. 3

On June 18 2009 on his Twitter page Boone announced that the development team was creating animations for motion capture and character movements for the new MK project.  He also reported the absence of superheroes in the game 4 from the DC Comics universe thus confirming that the future ninth part of the series is not a continuation of Mortal Kombat vs.  DC Universe.  Announced the team’s reference to the age rating “Mature” (17) for Mortal Kombat 9 instead of the rating “Teen” (13) assigned to the previous game.  Boone described these plans as “going too far” and expressed an assumption about crossing the border of what is permitted to the “Adults Only” rating (18). 5 6  Dan Forden also plans to return as a music composer for the game. 7  In November 2008 Ed Boon said in an interview that the technical achievements of Mortal Kombat vs.  DC Universe can find their development in the “next project” Mortal Kombat 9. 8  According to reports at the moment testing of the game’s possibilities over the network began which was proved by a screenshot of the personal PSN ID of Ed Boon. 9

On December 4 2009 TRMK.org posted a report on the alleged release of the ninth game of the Mortal Kombat series by Christmas 2010 10.  But later on June 10 2010 the release date was postponed to March 2011

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Game Features:

On March 8 2011 a demo version of Mortal Kombat 2011 was released for PlayStation 3 for PlayStation Network Plus subscribers.  March 15th for all other PlayStation Network owners.  For Xbox Live the exit did not take place.  The demo version includes 4 characters (Scorpio Sab-Zero Milina and Johnny Cage) and 2 arenas (Yama and the Living Forest).  Of the modes there are Arcade and Versus (for two players).
