Resident Evil 4 Game Review:
The game was released on January 11 2005 in North America January 27 in Japan on March 18 in Europe for the Nintendo GameCube console.
The history of the fourth part unfolds in 2004 six years after the events of the second part. Leon Scott Kennedy a government agent was sent on a mission to Europe. Ashley Graham the daughter of the US President kidnapped by a mysterious cult is to be saved. Traveling to a village village in Spain turns into a meeting with her bloodthirsty residents.
Six months after the release of the original edition the game was ported to the platform “PlayStation 2”. October 25 version for the PlayStation 2 is released in North America November 4 – in Europe November 11 – in Australia and December 1 – in Japan. In June 2007 the game was released on Wii and Windows. HD-re-mastering Resident Evil 4 in high definition appeared on September 20 2011 on the platforms PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 6.
By July 2011 the total sales volume of Resident Evil 4 on all platforms reached about 7.03 million units which made it the best-selling in the series. In 2012 the game was included in the book Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition as the best-selling game genre Survival Horror 7.
In 2014 released Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition – the re-release of Resident Evil 4 in HD for PC.
