The Last of Us Game Review: The Last of Us a computer game in the genre of action-adventure with elements of survival horror and stealth action developed  Studio Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the gaming console PlayStation 3 in 2013.  July 29 2014 came out augmented version of the game for the game console PlayStation 4 – The Last of Us Remastered.

The game takes place in the post-apocalyptic future in the territory of the former United States of America twenty years after the global pandemic caused by the dangerously mutated fungus Cordyceps.  During the game her characters the smuggler Joel and teenage girl Ellie are trying to cross the continent colliding in depopulated cities with various dangers – bandits cannibals and distraught Cordyceps victims reminiscent of zombies.  The game is distinguished by high complexity and the need to act secretly – the player should avoid meetings with enemies whenever possible by operating imperceptibly and economically spending ammunition.

The game received the highest ratings of critics and many awards “Game of the Year” from various publications.  It was also accompanied by commercial success in the first week of sales over 1.3 million copies of the game were sold and over 7 million copies were sold in just one year of sales.  December 3 2016 was announced sequel to the game called The Last of Us Part II.

More From The Last of Us Game Features:

The Last of Us is a third-person action-adventure.  For most of the game the player is controlled by one character Joel and his satellites are controlled by AI.  The game is divided into vast levels – for example such as a city block or an abandoned metro line – each of which sets the player’s task to reach a certain point overcoming obstacles and destroying those meeting at the level of opponents or bypassing them unnoticed.
As a throwing object in general objects such as bricks and bottles are used.  There are firearms but cartridges to it are rare.  The health of the protagonists is not restored by itself.

The player controls Joel while his partner Ellie is in the care of artificial intelligence.  There is no joint regime in the game.  Ellie is not a frail victim but a useful ally;  So she can summon the enemies and throw objects help in the murder or do it herself.  Ellie can die.  To some extent a girl is able to defend herself with weapons or cunning.  In some situations including solving certain puzzles Ellie’s help is absolutely necessary.  Also in the chapter “Winter” the player plays for some time for Ellie.
